Moms and dads, do you need two mornings a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:30 a.m. and noon to get out and run errands without extra little people keeping you company?
This is just the class for your little one!
Mother’s Morning Out is a morning daycare class for small children from the ages of 2½ to 3 years of age. They do not need to be potty trained. This two and a half hour class provides an enriching learning environment for your child.
During this class, your children will be introduced to colors, numbers, letters, shapes, and various objects. Stories of every kind are read aloud each day, and the children have the opportunity to role play and act out stories and situations. Questions are asked throughout the stories to foster inquiry skills.
This is a great time to learn and develop social skills. Children are learning to share, watch others, raise their hands, fold their arms, criss-cross their legs, and many other fine and gross motor skills. Learning how to get along with others is an important part of our early learning and there are many opportunities for playing and interacting. The children also spend time with hands on manipulatives and activities to help in their development.
Parents are asked to send a small snack or lunch to school with their child so that they have all of the energy they need to make it through all of our many fun activities.
