Mother’s Day is right around the corner. This special day gives children the perfect opportunity to thank their mother for all she does.  But it may be tough knowing just what to do to make her have the perfect day. To help you prepare the right appreciation this Mother’s day, here are 5 fun ways to celebrate.

Mother’s Day Activities

1. Pamper her.

If she loves pampering, consider starting the day with breakfast in bed. If you want to go the extra mile, treat her to a day at the spa.

2. Make a homemade Craft

A homemade craft is a fun and creative way to show how much you appreciate the mom in your family. Plus, it’s a good way to create fun and lasting memories.

3. Spend time in the garden.

Gardening is a fun way to bond, so we recommend having your children pitch in with planting, watering, or weeding. If she needs extra help getting her garden started, visit the local nursery and have her pick out some of her favorite flowers or vegetables.

4. Take her to a movie.

If she’s an avid movie goer, take her to her favorite theater and share a bag of popcorn. If she’d rather stay home, take out her favorite movie, grab the popcorn and the cozy blankets, and enjoy the much-needed quality time.

5. Mother’s Day Out

At Corner Canyon Academy, we offer “Mother’s Day Out” morning daycare class for small children from the ages of 2½ to 3 years of age. If a Mom needs a couple hours of rest and relaxation without children keeping them company, this is an ideal option. During this class, your children will be introduced to colors, numbers, letters, shapes, and various objects. Stories of every kind are read aloud each day, and the children have the opportunity to role play and act out stories and situations.
